Wasn’t planning an update tonight, and I promise I’ll keep this brief, but this story below would appear to be in line with the EU banning bendy bananas, imperial measures and haircuts: utter bollocks.
A quick scan of the article suggests that the contentious issue isn’t doner kebabs themselves, rather one particular ingredient, and by ingredient I mean additive. I’m sure that phosphates have their uses, I for one quite like how they make matches catch fire; however, I’m not 100% convinced that the exclusion of them will a) kill the doner kebab industry dead, nor b) be a bad thing, to be honest.
